Der vorliegende Beitrag fasst die Arbeit der Unter-AG Sacherschließung im Netzwerk der Fachinformationsdienste (FID) zusammen. Die Selbstorganisation des FID-Netzwerks in verschiedenen Gremien und auf unterschiedlichen Handlungsebenen wird dabei ebenso beleuchtet wie die inhaltlichen Aktivitäten der Gruppe rund um das Querschnittsthema Inhaltserschließung und forschungsnahe Normdatenarbeit. Diese kontinuierliche Arbeit führte dazu, dass das FID-Netzwerk seit 2025 in den Gremien der Gemeinsamen Normdatei (GND) an der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek präsent ist.

This article summarizes the work of the Subject Indexing sub-group in the Specialized Information Services (FID) network. It highlights the self-organization of the FID network in various committees at different levels of action, as well as the group’s content-related activities on the cross-cutting topic of subject indexing and research-related work in authority files. This ongoing work has led to the FID network being granted representation on the committees of the German National Library’s Common Authority File (GND) as of 2025.
