<B>Zum Dielektrikum-Metall-Übergang in Wasserstoff</B>
A microscopic model for describing the dielectric-metal transition in hydrogen is derived with the help of methods of statistical mechanics. The Hamiltonian corresponds formally to the so-called transverse Ising model. Taking from literature numerical values for certain parameters one may calculate the critical temperature <I>T</I><sub><I>c</I></sub> above which any jump-like change at the phase transition vanishes. <I>T</I><sub><I>c</I></sub> should be in the range of 6…9 · 10<sup>3</sup> K which has consequences for the internal structure of the giant planets Jupiter and Saturn.
Der Hamilton-Operator entspricht formal dem sogenannten transversalen Ising-Modell.
Ein solcher Wert hat Konsequenzen für die innere Struktur der Riesenplaneten Jupiter und Saturn.
Es wird ein mikroskopisches Modell zur Beschreibung des Dielektrikum-Metall-Übergangs in Wasserstoff mit Hilfe von Methoden der statistischen Mechanik abgeleitet.
Wenn man in der Literatur angegebene numerische Werte für bestimmte Parameter benutzt, kann man die kritische Temperatur <I>T</I><sub><I>c</I></sub> berechnen, oberhalb derer jede sprunghafte Änderung am Phasenübergang verschwindet. <I>T</I><sub><I>c</I></sub> sollte im Bereich 6…9 · 10<sup>3</sup> K liegen.
