The transverse momentum distribution of 900 secondary pions produced in interactions of 24 GeV protons with emulsion nuclei is seen to agree fairly well with the HAGEDORN distribution for a' = 3/2 and b' adjusted to 133 MeV. A satisfactory fit of FEYNMANS scaling idea is also observed at this incident energy.
