Graduiertenkolleg "Konstitutionelle Grundlagen globalisierter Finanzmärkte - Stabilität und Wandel" / Graduate Programme "Foundation of Global Financial Markets - Stability and Change"
The post-graduate programme Global Financial Markets is a joint project of the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena (Prof. Dr. Christoph Ohler, L.L.M) and the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg (Prof. Dr. Christian Tietje, LL.M.).The post-graduate programme focuses on the fundamental principles of globalized financial markets. Against the background of the financial crisis of 2008/2009, the programme is dedicated to interdisciplinary research from a legal and economic perspective. It aims to contribute to the scientific discourse of how international financial markets and their supervision should work in the future, in particular how the stability of the financial system can be accomplished. The programme is financed for five years by the foundation “Geld und Währung” and offers 20 doctoral fellowships. It is supported by 10 advising Professors from Jena, Halle, Leipzig and Erfurt. More information is available at http://www.gfinm.de/.
