Endocytobiosis and Cell Research, an international research journal and organ of the International Society of Endocytobiology (ISE), aims to promote the flow of information and to stimulate the cooperation between symbiosis researchers and cell biologists.
The journal offers a communication forum for (micro)biologists, biophysicists, biochemists, genetical, medical, veterinary researchers, and molecular biologists who are concerned with the origin, development, differentiation, evolution and phylogeny of endosymbioses (including endocytoparasitism) and of the eukaryotic cell, especially of exogenosomes and exogenons.
All classes of organismic systems are covered, from virus to higher plants and animals. All topics in these areas of cellular and subcellular interactions will be considered, including the coevolution of virus, plasmone and genome; gene transfer within and between cells; protein and nucleic acid sequencing; morphological, physiological, ecological, and biochemical adaptations in the cell habitat, and analytical and culture methods.
Inductive as well as deductive original articles, short communications and reviews within the scope are welcome.
